Ann Timmons, RN

Ann from Medi Home Health & Hospice says...

“CNAs are the most important part of the health care team. They do most of the hands-on care and build relationships with the patient that nurses don't get the opportunity to. In home health and hospice, patients are always waiting for the aide to come--they could care less if the nurse shows up! CNAs deserve a lot more gratitude than they receive!”

Sue Richardson, RN

Sue from Extendicare Home Health says...

“Keep up the good work. You truly are the eyes and ears of nursing.”

Joyce Matthews, RN

Joyce of Absolut Care says...

“Thank you, CNAs! You are the eyes, ears and hands of the nurses and you are appreciated. It is a VERY hard and often unappreciated profession. We don't always show our gratitude but you make us nurses look good.”

Lynn Mays, Staff Development

Lynn from Mount Vernon Nursing & Rehab Center says...

“Thanks, CNAs, for all you do. Without each of you working as a team, we would not be considered one of the best nursing and rehab centers in our community.”

Micki Hanley, RN

Micki from Southern Inyo Healthcare District says...

“We would be lost without our CNAs. They are the backbone of long term care. Not only do they do most of the hands-on care, but they are our eyes and ears for the residents. My hat is off to all CNAs and the work they do for long term care. Thank you all for your dedication!”

Teresa Yancey, RN

Teresa from Budd Terrace - Emory Healthcare says...

“CNAs: Without you, it just wouldn't be possible to provide the care and services that we give to our residents everyday. Without your dedication, teamwork, support and genuine caring attitude, we just could not be great. Thanks again and again....for giving of yourselves!!!”

Adriana S., RN

Adriana from PG Health Services says...

“To all CNAs across the United States, thank you for all your hard work and dedication that you offer your patients.”

Annette Parker, RN

Annette from FAHC in Vermont says...

“CNAs: You do such important work and are such wonderful caring individuals!  You are the ones who make a difference to every person you touch and care for.  Your patients know you are very important members of their health care team.”

Tammy Mustard, RN

Tammy at Northwest Technology Center says...

“Behind every good nurse is a GREAT CNA!”

Mari Garcia, soon to be L.P.N.

Mari Garcia says...

"I have been a CNA for several years. I have done patient care in pediatrics to geriatrics. I can say that it is a demanding job in more ways than one. It is a job that a lot of people look down on. But the true reward is.. Somebody's Grandma looking up to you from her chair and sharing a smile. Next week I will graduate from a LPN program and return to the facility where I have worked as a CNA. I will have to work my last few days as an aide which will give me a dose or a "refresher" of hands on reality. But even a greater respect for all CNAs and caregivers out there! I vow to be the nurse who doesn't forget where she came from. Who doesn't mind lending a helping hand. God bless everyone who cares and shares with the people who need it most!"
